This November, Foli Sim’s very own Senior Artist, Kate Dawes, will be joining the Finishing Touches Group SMP Workshop Team in attending the International Society of Hair Restoration (ISHRS) 27th World Congress Live Surgery Workshop, held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok.
As a global non-profit medical association, with more than 1000 members throughout 70 countries worldwide, the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery is the leading authority on hair loss treatment and restoration. During the week-long World Congress, surgeons, transplant doctors and specialists from all corners of the world will share industry knowledge and up-skill on all the relevant areas of hair restoration so they can return home to their practices and incorporate real changes that bring them up-to-date with the latest in the field.
Attending from the 13th to the 17th of November, our Perth based artist, Kate, is set to take part in the Live Workshop where international transplant doctors and surgeons will observe Kate perform SMP, sometimes known as hair tattooing, asking any relevant questions and having a go themselves on dummy heads with Kate’s professional instruction.
The ISHRS World Congress Live Surgery Workshop isn’t the first Kate has been involved in this year. Recognised globally for her extensive background and professional experience in the hair industry, and her commitment to her clients’ comfort and happiness during the hair tattoo process, Kate featured as one of the international guest speakers at Olympia Beauty’s SMP Boot-camp in London in September and as part of the panel at the Team Micro Meeting of Minds alongside international and esteemed artists also in London earlier in the year.
Kate’s attendance at these global seminars and conferences solidifies her professional reputation as one of the best in SMP, with Foli Sim as leaders in the coveted industry.
